Johnny got his well-deserved promotion yesterday. It rained, so they had to hold the ceremony inside.
Thomas before the promotion... I put nice shoes on him for the occasion, but he found his spiderman play shoes in the car and decided to change his shoes on the way to base :(
Johnny has had the same Captain for almost 6 years (here and at his previous duty station) and the 2 of them stood outside in the pouring rain after the promotion just to have a picture taken together. You cant really tell it's raining from the photo though. This is probably the best photo to see of his new chevrons.
I'm so proud of Johnny.
