We took the kids to the National Zoo in DC this past Thursday. We all had a great time and the weather was perfect. The zoo is like a gorgeous wildlife park right in the middle of the city!

This is inside a building called the Amazon. It's like an indoor rain forest and monkeys and birds roam free inside! You can see a small monkey in the tree in the center

The pandas were awesome. They were chewing on bamboo and it was so loud!

There are so many things to do with the kids in the area... we are looking forward to lots more "adventures" at many fun and educational sites around here!
